We create the conditions for people to share openly and honestly. Because many times people don’t have the words to articulate their needs, we make our questions tangible - be it through a sketch or a simulated user experience.
Turning human stories into data in ways that computers can’t
We take no one person’s word as gospel truth. We interrogate everything we hear through rigorous analysis and synthesis designed to remove bias and challenge assumptions. This allows us to reach a crystal-clear customer truth (the what) and an opportunity to address it (the how).
Design Research as a tool to learn and to validate
We embed research throughout various phases of our work to ensure that our clients are ‘designing the right thing’ and ‘designing the thing right.’ We are fluent in conducting research to both explore the problem and validate our design hypotheses through user testing.

Prototypes are vehicles to help answer complex questions
Every prototype, no matter the level of fidelity, is always rooted in a well-researched hypothesis. Without a question to explore, a prototype is just a pretty artefact with no reason to exist.
Prototyping is about role-playing the future before committing to it
There’s no ‘right’ way to solve a complex problem. By using prototypes to simulate the future, we can gain confidence that a design is the best fit for the needs of the customer and the business.
Prototyping is an interdisciplinary playground
Prototyping should not be exclusive to digital because in reality products and services don’t operate in silos. The best prototype are the ones that explore a hypothesis through multiple mediums (e.g. tools, roles, processes and space) to get to the best answers for your business.
